Basjoo agrees to supply, install, and maintain a robotic lawn mowing system (“Equipment”) at the Service Address. The Equipment remains the sole property of Basjoo at all times. The Customer agrees to pay a monthly fee for the ongoing provision of this service.
The Service Provider will:
Install the robotic mower system
Maintain and service the Equipment
Replace blades as required
Carry out reasonable repairs
Adjust system settings seasonally
If the Customer cancels within the minimum term:
They must pay either:
Remaining monthly payments for the minimum term
OR
An early termination fee of £1500
Monthly Service Fee: Referenced in quote per month
Payment Frequency: Monthly in advance on the 1st of each month
Payment Method: Standing Order
Payments must be made on time. Failure to pay may result in suspension or removal of the Equipment.
Minimum term: 24 months
The Agreement will automatically continue on a rolling monthly basis after the minimum term unless terminated by either party.
Basjoo reserves the right to review pricing annually with a minimum of 30 days’ notice.
The Service Provider reserves the right to:
Access the property (with reasonable notice) for servicing
Remove Equipment in the event of:
Non-payment
Breach of contract
End of Agreement
The Customer agrees to:
Provide access to the property when required
Keep the lawn reasonably clear of debris, toys, and obstacles
Not tamper with, relocate, or modify the Equipment
Notify the Service Provider of any faults or damage
All Equipment supplied remains the property of the Service Provider.
The Customer must not:
Sell, transfer, or dispose of the Equipment
Attempt repairs or modifications
Allow third parties to interfere with the system
The Customer is responsible for damage caused by misuse, negligence, or third parties under their control
Theft must be reported within 24 hours
The Service Provider may charge for replacement or repair where appropriate
The Service Provider is not responsible for:
Lawn condition caused by extreme weather
Pre-existing lawn issues
Damage caused by pets, wildlife, or third parties
Interruptions due to factors beyond reasonable control
The Service Provider will take reasonable care in delivering the service but shall not be liable for:
Indirect or consequential losses
Minor cosmetic lawn variations
Issues outside of its control
13.0 USE OF ONBOARD TECHNOLOGY & DATA PRIVACY
The Customer acknowledges that the equipment may incorporate onboard technologies, including cameras, mapping, and remote connectivity, for the purposes of navigation, safety, diagnostics, and service optimisation. Any imagery or data captured is strictly limited to what is necessary for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the equipment and is not used for surveillance or unrelated purposes. Basjoo will only access such data where reasonably required to deliver the service, diagnose faults, or improve performance. All data is handled in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, and appropriate measures are taken to safeguard the Customer’s privacy. No personal data or identifiable imagery will be shared with third parties except where required by law or for essential service provision (e.g. manufacturer support), and only on a minimal and secure basis.
Any amendments must be in writing
This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales
